Matthew Raphan has extensive legal experience in estate planning, estate administration, and guardianship matters in both Surrogates and Supreme Court. He is passionate about serving clients, understanding their legal and aging needs, and finding cost-effective legally sound solutions.
Education:
Matthew received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University, his law degree from Hofstra University School of Law, and was admitted to practice law in 2012.
While at law school, Matthew was a member of the Mediation Clinic, where he gained experience in alternate dispute resolution. He also worked at the Legal Aid Society of Nassau County, New York, assisting in the representation of indigent clients.
Prior to joining the law firm, Matthew Raphan was an associate at an Elder Law firm in New Jersey where he practiced estate planning and estate administration.
Matthew Raphan speaks pro bono in New York City throughout the year in our law firms' Legal Seminars and Webinars explaining and simplifying legal issues facing seniors and families.
